Killer Shoes: High Street vs Designer!

I don’t know about you but I love finding high street versions of amazing designer shoes! I always think that a great pair of heels can totally transform an outfit. I have done a bit of research and have found a few high street versions of designer shoes that are big at the moment. Enjoy!

On the right is Moda in Pelle’s ‘Rox’ sandals and Gucci’s ‘Kelly’ sandals. They both share common features – the knotted front, open back and high stiletto heel with platform sole. The only differing features is that the Moda in Pelle shoe is pink otherwise they would be almost identical (stating the obvious there!). I think it would be hard to tell them apart otherwise. The Moda in Pelle’s style is available at www.vivaladiva.com for £50 – I personally can’t afford the Gucci version but you could always try trusty ole eBay if you fancy spending a small fortune!

Next on the list is, Steve Madden’s ‘Madalynn’ gladiator sandal and Dior’s extreme gladiator sandals, as worn by Sarah Jessica Parker in the Sex and the City movie. Maybe I’m stepping waaaay outta line here, but I prefer the snakeskin detail on the Steve Madden version! Apparently the Dior style is sold out everywhere after the SATC film came out but the Steve Madden one is available on www.amazon.co.uk for £54.34!!! (original price £80) . I know what I’ll be buying with my next lot of pay!

Check out this Steve Madden version of YSL’s Tribute platform sandal. I just love platforms so much and this is a brilliant version of why they are so gorgeous. This is a thing of beauty, people. These patent platforms are available at www.asos.com for £69. The Steve Madden range has so many gorgeous styles with an affordable price tag. I can’t get enough of his shoes!

These next ones aren’t an exact match but they’re very similar. The Schuh Bette Bow Platforms on the left are actually slightly cuter than the Mui Mui’s on the right and they are still in line with the nude accessory trend at the moment. With that lovely pink ribbon bow, they look very Minnie Mouse. The Schuh platform is available in a nude pink and black suede and you can get hold of them from www.schuh.co.uk for £53.62.
